By the time our hero is finished granting all the mouse's very urgent requests--and cleaning up after him--it's no wonder his head is becoming a bit heavy. Laura Joffe Numeroff's tale of warped logic is a sure-fire winner in the giggle-generator category. But concerned parents can rest assured, there's even a little education thrown in for good measure: underneath the folly rest valuable lessons about cause and effect. Felicia Bond's hilarious pictures are full of subtle, fun details. Customer Review: Just a Warm, Delightful Read for Small Children (and the parents who read it)
I used to read this book to my children so often when they were small, and they always loved it. What was great was that I also loved reading it to them. It's a nice, safe feeling book, makes for perfect reading to a child at any time. This is a real classic for the little ones, and reading to a small child is always a wonderful thing to do. You'll be glad you bought this book, and so will the precious little children!

Loved this book as a child! It's a wonderful interaction between a mouse and a little boy. It's not only a great story for your child, but a great way to dialogue about "what comes next?". Children will be entertained and the ending is sure to bring a smile!
