Default hamster care?

My hamster has both his eyes stuck together. Is there something I may purchase over the counter to help?

What you can do is get a warm wet wash cloth & very gently clean the eyes that should help them come unstuck. But I also recommend you take your hamster in to see your vet she could have an eye infection & if that is the case if not treated the hamster could lose their eye site completely.

The hamster could actually get very sick, and possibly die if the infection continues. Vets do charge a lot for visits and it does not go by the size of the pet, but you don't want the hamster to get sicker. It will probably need antibiotics for the infection. Hope you can get it treated, as rodents can get rather sick, rather quickly.

Why do people waste valuable time asking questions like this online when the answer is to get the poor thing to the vet right now. It must be really scared and suffering
