Well, they were given to me by a friend who only had them about a month or so and she got them from a pet store. They don't seem that old and the both of them were healthy until just recently when gibbet started to lose her hair. I have put them in seperate cagest that I cleaned with bleach water to see if it might be pippian chewing on gibbet.

So we can safely say it is not fur loss due to old age.
One of the main reasons for hair loss around the heads of mice is, barbering, where a dominant mouse chews off the hair and whiskers of the other. So if there is a mouse with its facial hair still intact, this maybe what is happening? You have done right in separating them. Keep them separated, and see if the fur starts to grow again, this will only take a week or so.
The other thing it could be is Mites, these usually start around the head and muzzle, then eventually over the whole body, but persistent itching normally accompanies this, and this would affect both, keep your eye on the other one. But it sounds to me this is barbering

Default Thank YOU!!

Thank you sooo much. I knew it could have been one of the two problems you spoke of but I just didn't know too much about the barbering to actually know if that was the problem. I appreciate your help so much! *gibbet says thank you too* lol I'll tell you next week how she is doing. Thanks again!
