Default dwarf hamster care?

any tips for caring for a dwarf hamster? and, should i put it's food in a dish or just on the shavings?

try getting like a little plate or get the one in the yogurt top and put the food in their

Take care of them. Don't pick them up until they get used to you. Don't feed them too much sunflower seed. They love it, but it only makes them fatter. Put some toys in the cage or they'll be lonely. Put the food in a dish. I don't think they'll find it if it's in the shavings.
