i have a guinea pig i just got her a week ago and when me and my boyfriend was holding her she kept making this weird noise and kept shaking like she was having a seizure and then she died in my boyfriends arms what could have cause that?

How long did you have her before she died?? I usually get my pets from an exotic pet shop. I stay away from PetCo and PetsMart because their pets come from corps that have a massive amount of animals to breed....and the liklihood of them changing and cleaning the cage is rare, plus they like to jam in a whole bunch of animals in a small area too.It sound like she may have had something already.
