Customer Review: One of the best.
One of the best Cham books out there for beginners. Chameleon husbandry Information is hard to find in book form. I as one of the above reviewers stated also have all the cham books on husbandry on amazon[.com], and this one is the best. I recommend finding a breeder and talking to them, that is the only way to get the most up to date info on chameleon care.
Customer Review: The Definitive Book on Chameleon Husbandry
If you are a new chameleon hobbiest owner or are about to take that plunge into chameleon ownership, this is the ONLY book you will need. It covers feeding, caging, care specific to many different and exotic species, and basic medical information as well. The book is well written and covers topics thoroughly. The pictures are superb and the author's personal experience keeping chameleons and other herps is very reassuring and lends to her credibility. I wish I had got this book first, if I had, I would have never bought the deVosjoli or Bartlett books. I spent way more than twice the cost of Davison's book buying 5 or 6 other books about chameleons--all of which have outdated, incorrect and/or incomplete information. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE QUINESSENTIAL BOOK, WRITTEN FOR THE HOBBIEST, ON THE HUSBANDRY (aka CARE) OF CHAMELEONS.....I OWN EVERY ONE OF THE BOOKS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON AMAZON.COM IF YOU DO A SEARCH FOR "CHAMELEON" OR "CHAMELEONS" BUT, I PROMISE YOU, NONE COMPARE TO LINDA DAVISON'S BOOK! SHE HAS GIVEN US A BOOK THAT IS AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET TO FINDING THE PROVERBIAL DEFINITIVE BOOK. P.S. If you are a chameleon owner and you do NOT have this book, no kidding, you do NOT know what you are missing!
