My snake is a red tailed boa.8ft approx 9 yrs old she has dry scales that look raised .Shes not eating well but iv only had her a few weeks.She don't shed all in one.Moves around ok,jusy as active as other snakes .Like natual sun light.

raise up the humidity try misting the snake a few times a day with water. It might be a bad case of mites too. you can get mite killer at almost any pet store i use this spray stuff called "MITE RX" if neither one of these work take it to a vet.
