Hello! Right now you are living in your mom's house, and if she doesn't like snakes and doesn't want one in the house, there's no way you can make her. My advice is wait until you are 18 and move out. Then you can have or do anything you want and you won't have to worry about your mom. =) Good luck!

kid, hide the snake from your mom for 2 weeks then bring him in the car while your mom is driving then show her your snake by letting your snake give mom a snake kiss or bit on the face. And after the car is done flipping over and your mom dies... you will be able to keep the snake.

Well, as you are living under her roof, you probably just have to accept her decision. As for her reasoning - well, she should get over her fear of snakes and having one around would help her, so there are better reasons. However, at the end of the day, it's her decision, and even if her reason was "just because I feel like saying no", you would still need to respect that decision as you're living with her.

A lot of people don't like snakes. Some people are outright terrified of them. My mother is one of those people. She is so phobic of snakes that if she so much as sees a picture of one in a book, that book will fly across the room.I have always been facsinated by snakes, but could never have one while I lived with my parents due to her fear of them. Her fear was unreasonable, but it wasn't her fault. She had been chased with a dead snake when she was a young girl by a couple of bullies. It scarred her for life and she can't help it.In her case, I would say that she had a good reason to not let me get a snake. She could have never slept peacefully in her own house while she shared it with one. It wouldn't have mattered if it was small, harmless, and locked safely in a cage.Try a lizard instead. She if she'll go along with that. There are many different kinds of lizards that make great pets, and some of them can get pretty big.

Talking that sucks

my parents said i will never own a snake again, the only reptile i could have is a bearded dragon. I have had a ball python for a few months now.

How i got it:
Fake crying at a place where they sell snakes unless you get one.

PS ball pythons are better than corn snakes. They are less agressive and wont bite you for no reason
