Default i found a turtle i think it is a snapping turtle he's already a few years

old know how to take care of him>?

can you post a picture, if it is a snapping turtle minnows ,small frogs ,worms and ect. but if it is an alligator snapping turtle they are endagered and it has to be realesed,and honestly you should let it go anyway no matter what kind of turtle it is

Please take it out some where turn it lose When i was a kid my dad take a shovel a lone and keep it in trunk of car than when he see a Big Snaping Turtle he get shovel out get the turtle put it in car trunk We kill it eat it its very good meat taste good ok -- now my dad show me how strong there jaws are he took a good size tree limb held it in front of that turtle instand turtle clamp on it like a vise turtle can snap your fingers right off there that strong. Sorry made this so long but be care full with a big snaping turtle ok .

hey i think i have one to cause its always trying to bite me ...i just feed him turtle food and thats it !!!!! ohhh yea my brother gave it to me ..so i keept it ...

Well, first of all, if you think it's a snapping turtle, don't keep it. I don't think you're allowed to keep them as pets. Besides, if you do you'll probably end up losing a few fingers. Take it back where you found it before it grows old enough to take a big hunk out of you. They can get huge! I think it's 3 feet or more.
