Default Terk TV44 Amplified Clip-on Outdoor TV Antenna for Dual LNB Satellite Dishes

The limitations of satellite TV have often revolved around local programming, which satellite providers occasionally don't offer (depending on where you live) or charge for on a per-receiver basis. The Terk TV44 amplified TV antenna remedies this impasse by giving dish owners free, constant access to all programming transmitted over the local airwaves, including HD channels and community stations. The antenna installs easily--simply clip it on your existing satellite dish (no tools required) and it's ready to go. Once installed, its high-quality internal amplifier minimizes signal loss, further aiding the antenna's highly tuned and efficient receiving elements. The end result is the best reception possible whether you're enjoying VHF or UHF stations or HD channels. The TV44 is also weather-resistant, meaning it doesn't wear down easily.
The antenna is compatible with all mini-dish systems (which generally measure 18 by 20 or 24 inches) with dual LNBs. It also comes with all the necessary cables.
What's in the Box
TV44 antenna, four 32-inch coaxial cables, eight 12-inch coaxial cables, user's manual.
Customer Review: Very good but not excellent
In the suburbs of Dallas, this unit works well. We are able to get most of the local channels to supplement our DirecTV channels. There isn't as much adjustment as we would like but we are satisfied with the overall performance. It does much better than the powered indoor antenna that we had been using. We wouldn't recommend it for more rural users because we don't think it would pull in distant stations.
Customer Review: Ultimate convenience
After reading several reviews for this product, I was concerned about the reception I would receive once it was installed. I'm happy to say, however, that I can now receive all of my local HD channels, and the picture is outstanding (analog channels aren't so great). Add to this the convenience of not having to go into my attic to run cables, and not having to attach any new equipment to my roof, and I'm one happy camper. The kicker is, after taking back the other antenna and all of the additional equipment I bought before coming across this antenna, I ended up saving about $80!
