Customer Review: Not a miracle worker, but pretty good...
I'm very happy with this antenna. I still have to do a lot of adjusting to get good reception on certain channels, but no indoor antenna is going to work a miracle for your television reception (especially if your house seems to be in a hole like mine). This is definitely an improvement on the antenna that came with my television. Like the reviewer before me said, the base of this antenna is nicely weighted and has a very nice non-slip pad on the bottom of it. Overall, the product works well and looks nice. I do not regret buying it at all. Beware of thinking you're getting a great deal for this price, though. I got standard shipping and the shipping alone cost $15 (the UPS package was only 2lbs!).
Customer Review: Great Reception, Great Value, Great Quality
This great RCA antenna has been around since the 70s, but every few years, they release an improved version of the ANT110. This one is currently the newest, and it's reception is clearer than ever! One of the best antennas available today. They've now also added to this model the capability to view HDTV signals over the air. This antenna is not suitable for everyone though. People who have large TV sets, I'd say over 27", should get more powerful, amplified antennas. Otherwise, you'll might get weak signals. But for smaller TV sets, it's fine choice, and is perfectly clear. This antenna might also not work very well in an apartment building. It really depends on your situation; if there's alot of interference where you live, or if you reside close by or far from the broadcasting station. I'm also very happy with the appearance of this new version. Unlike past versions, this one has a weighted base built-in, and has the UHF loop already attached to the antenna. The dipoles are a little bit difficult to move from their positions and require two hands, but I rarely have to do that. Usually I just move the base around until I get the clearest signal. And unlike other antennas that have very thin, useless padding, this one has a very thick non-slip, and non-scratching pad applied to the bottom of the base. I love this pad! I can easily slide the antenna around any surface without scraping or damaging anything. Well, overall this a great choice for many people who still rely on over-the-air broadcasts. I sure hope you check it out! (Update: I've found that newer versions of this exact same model has not been manufactured with the same quality as the earlier versions. The non-slip padding is a cheaper, thinner version, and even the base and dipoles seem different. The base is lighter, and the dipoles look shorter. I'm quite disapppoointed in RCA actaully. So beware, the higher quality versions might still be around, but most probably, you will get the cheaply made version that are currently in stores.)
