After applying this once, I am walking to the garage to pour this down the drain very very carefully. It is so disgusting that it is much better to have the deer eat my plants. The cure is worse than the disease.

I found my dear camellias eaten by deer this morning, and decided not to waste time getting rid of the deer. After some investigation online and talking to the nursery staff, I used "liquid fence". What a mistake!! My whole front yard smells so bad I can't be near it, neighbours had to close windows and doors, and I actually had to throw up after using it. I don't care if it will keep the deer away; the smell makes me sick, and all animals are already avoiding my garden, including the birds for whom I have food around.
