how often do i wash my pet if i have a small puppy?

I'd recommend wiping it with wipes till it's about 3 months old..

once a week maybe twice. it depends if the puppy is dirty or smells bad

Is this the same for a full grown doggie? I have a lab/cocker spaniel she is awesome but lately she has gotten dry skin any recomendations for me....
