Default rats as pets, "fuzzies, how do i take care of them?

I have posted several questions related to rats, and now am at my final step. I have chosen to purchase a feeder fuzzie or two, but can I feed the newly weaned rats regular rat food? Or do I need to get a special food for the babies. And will the fuzzies be active, or like baby mice or something, will i be able to train them to sit on my shoulder or ride in my pocket or purse? and how big are the fuzzys in relation to mice or hands (etc.) Thanks guys! (also any info you have about caring for a fuzzy, please share with me, because I plan on bringing one home next week, and also, I have heard that most feeder rats have respitory issues because of being so smushed together, if I get a newly weaned fuzzy, do you think that he will have better health benifetts than say a fully grown feeder rat, because he hasn't been exposed to some of the things the adults are? Thanks again! (if you want to you can leev your email addres if I have any other questions)i heard that pinkys are not weened, but fuzzies is the term for rats that have been, and i'm not getting my rat from a breeder, but as a feeder rat, so I'm not positive that they will give me a 5 week old rat without a "term" for it. Is there?

Make sure they are eating solid food before you take them away from their mom, I have had rats and the can be very good pets as long as you spend time handling them.

a rat in the fuzzy stage isnt weaned and needs small animal milk and its a lot of work and may die. a fuzzy is medium-mouse size. you should buy a 5 weak old rat. it is ready to go and tamable or already fairly tame.
