Sounds like you have the Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster these are usually the most common.
The Dwarf Campbells Russian Hamster is approximately 10-12cm in length when fully grown,
They are a sociable creature and will live with others of there own kind in single or mixed sex groups (single sex groups to avoid any unwanted pregnancies) provided that the hamsters are introduced at a young age; they should get on well together.
But it is not unknown for them to suddenly start squabbling weeks, or even months down the line.
One may try to establish a dominant position in the cage, if this should occur then it may be wise to separate them if it becomes serious enough to warrant it.
As for feeding, each hamster will have different tastes and not all hamsters like the same things. It is important to know what foods can, and cannot be fed to hamsters to avoid harming them.
A good complete hamster mix makes up the bulk of the diet. But additions of fresh food can also be added, and help keep your pet hamsters interested.
Hamsters will eat almost any cereal grain, or plant material. There are many types of hamster mixes available on the market, but a good quality one should be considered.
If you take a look at this post on this forum it may well give you some idea regarding food, and housing.
Enjoy your new found little friends, they great lovable little creatures,
and will bring many fun filled hours.
Regards Hammy.
