Default Hello

Hello everyone. I'm new to this site so let me introduce myself. I live in southern WV, a Registered Nurse. The love of my life is my friend, Cooper, 2 yr old chocolate tri copper nose Beagle.
Recently took copper to the vet as he had had 2 petit mall seizures within 6 weeks of one another. I am very saddened for this. But, will medicate if need to on next sign of a seizure. I have had patients who have had seizures and stayed calm and gave instructions to family members lets just keep them from hurting themselves. I can't believe how devastated torn all to pieces when my baby had these seizures. I cried begged God to help my puppy at the same time telling him he is going to be alright. If anyone out there has same situation, please post your thoughts as this is one of the hardest events of my life. Thanks

Default thank you

Thank you Aggy. You just absolutely cannot have enough friends in the world today..esp today. Thank you for your kind support. It is greatly appreciated. Cooper and I have been through a lot since 6 weeks ago 3 days after Cooper had his first seizure my beloved friend BeeBee, gentle giant, 17 yrs old, died on 04 04 07. BeeBee was a beautiful mutt, weighed lbs 120+. He was so gentle and kind he mothered my baby Cooper like momma dog would do keeping him clean esp his wee wee. You know how Momma doggies are with their babes. I did not know for several months after having Cooper that BeeBee was tending his care while I was gone to work.. My neighbors called BeeBee either majestic giant or gentle giant. If you had not seen BeeBee you would not have known I had a dog living in my home. He never barked or fussed about anything he was so loyal loving kind. I miss him dearly. I had him from day 1. Watched him be born and he never left my side. There was a stray female pregnant momma doggie came to my home and I fed her and she stayed, delivering 10 babies. Found good home for all including Momma. So, remember us in your prayers we are still grieving very much for our beloved friend.

I know what you mean my joe is 16 and i had hes mum and dad and a sister 1 yr younger. He is the last one left and he has a lot of health problems ie-- cushings, breathing trouble, heart murmur, nearly blind and not much hearing, and they told me 2 months ago that hes kidneys are failing.I am dreading anything happening to him he is my mate and i love him to bits. I think that is why my daughter gave me the pick of her pomeranians litter hoping that it may make things a bit easier. Although he has all these problems he does still have some quality of life. The day he doesnt is the day i will do the inevitable. Anyway we must keep thinking positive and hope for the best. Speak to you soon hug to cooper----AGGY
