Default Barbie In the 12 Dancing Princesses: Horse & Carriage

Since going to the ball in an SUV or minivan doesn't quite have the romantic appeal of a horse-drawn carriage, and a dozen party-bound princesses are likely to squash any regular carriage like the pumpkin of another fairytale, the only viable solution here is…an expandable carriage! Based, of course, on the Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses DVD, this fancy carriage is cleverly designed to expand to enable all 12 giddy princesses to squeeze in on their way to their forbidden nightlife scene (an evil duchess has put the kibosh on fun and dancing). The horse is as finely gussied up as the young ladies, with long, silky blonde mane and tale and elaborate pink reins. The carriage itself is pink, purple, and white; when the base is stretched out and additional seats popped up, the floor changes from white to purple. The plastic used may not last through generations of girls at play, but should hold up for as long as needed. Dolls not included. --Emilie Coulter
Customer Review: Very Pretty, nice size for the price, Kelly dolls get stuck easily!!
My daughter received this for Christmas from Santa and loves it. This is her very first type Barbie vehicle of any type car or horse drawn and she has very few problems with it. However the bridle does not stay on well and the horse is very unstable. You have to position her standing slightly crooked to the carriage to get her to stand up. Also a big problem is the triplet dolls get stuck quite easily even though they have special seats just for them. The one long twirling foot on them gets stuck very far and is very difficult to get out. Not good for a 4 year old, quite frustrating. It expands easily, contraction takes a bit more skill, but easy to learn even for the little ones. Over all very nice carriage and my daughter is happy with it.
Customer Review: not a lot of problems
This carriage was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. There have been a few small pieces break off and with having a little one around, it's not too great. However, my four year old that plays with it, knows this and can pick them up. Also, one of the small princesses got her foot stuck in the little hole you put her in. I eventually got her out. Overall, my daughter loves it, and it's not terribly problematic, so I like it.
