Now I have a mare, just one. It's all I have time to ride. My expences are,,, hay (approx. $50.00) a month,,,, sweet feed $25.00-$30.00 a month,,,, regular shoeing (mine is) $45.00 a pop @ 4-5 times a yr. Worming at least 4 times a yr. @ $8.00-15.00, depending on brand. Your grooming gear, depends on care, that will vary. They're like any other pet. I love to buy mine goodies, and snacks, gear, prettys, etc. And to top it off, Lots and lots of love..
