...problems (at border or health of fish)? I would like to get some female Bettas but they are hard to find here in Alberta. So I was thinking about shipping some from the states if possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

bettas produce alot of ammonia and are very sensitive to light changes shipping should not be attempted

Insure that they are healthy and it shouldn't be to difficult.

I was wandering thru eBay last nite & found Bettas can be shipped from all over the world. Of course the fish are quite expensive & the shipping cost is outta site. Go on eBay & you'll see what I'm referring to. They had some of the most beautiful Bettas I've ever seen!!! Most of them also came with a guarantee.
