Make sure it has clean water with plenty of bubbles to breathe oxygen, give it betta pellets twice a day and watch it's tail for any signs of rot.

Put it in a tank (with a filter) with dechlorinated water that has sat for at least 24 hours with no fish, feed it once a day with beta food (found at a pet store)...is there anything specific you're looking for here?
