Default How to take care of a farmer's pond that has been fished out?

My cousin just moved into this farmer's house and there is a pond on the property. We fished it all last summer and he has a lot of kids and they didnt seem to understand the catch and release part. They just caught them and put them in a bucket and left them to die. So I am worried that this year the pond might be fished out. Any suggestions on how I could tell or if I can possibly restock it.

Call a fishery and have them restock it. We have 11 ponds on our ranch (mainly for fire safety) but we stock many of them with trout. Make sure EVERY fish is gone before you restock it, because older fish will often eat young ones. Then call your fishery, tell them the size of the pond and ask for suggestions of how many they should put in it, and they will drive out there and dump x number of fish into the pond. It MAY be pricey depending on their travel time and type of fish, so make sure you research it a little so your investment doesn't die.
