Default What are the health risk of letting your dog or other animals sleep in your bed?

It is possible to acquire bacterial infections from dogs? Develop allergies, hives, etc.

if your dog is healthy and clean, and you use a regular antibacterial cleaner i dont think that would be a problem

No offence intended, but people both adults and children have been sleeping with animals in their bads long before you were born even if you are ninty years old! but I do see a draw back both if the dog is very large and very small! If small the possibility of being crushed, and if large, my dog would sometimes cut the circulation off no serious side affects, but it happens, it made him feel good if he was in contact with any part of me when he was sleeping. If you have high allergy problems, then you may have an issue but then that emanates from you and not something dog has. Try it out and you will know. Best is to buy a doggy bed and keep it in the room with you and you both will geta better and more restfull sleep, trust me on that one!!!
