I'd think it'd be easier to just buy it locally because true you can save alot of money sometimes by buying stuff over the Internet but you loose the capability of really seeing and examining the quality of the product o-o;; I mean you can buy a wool sweater medium sized for your dog but what if you get it and find out its a size too small for your little doggie :< It's going to take WEEKS for them to replace it--and some websites don't do that :< Once you buy, end of story!

Have this friend show you the cost savings. Then make up your own mind. Or do whatever is easiest for you and ignore what others tell you.

I'd highly recommend checking out DrsFosterSmith.comThey're extremely well-known, have colorful, complete and up-to-the-minute catalogs. Get on their mailing list.A place like Petsmart is fine, but you run the risk of being distracted by a million impulse purchases and dog toys your pet won't even look at.DrsFosterSmith catalog has interesting sidebars of info and can tell you which of their products are best sellers, highly recommended, questions of durability etc. Plus they have a vast array of tasty little treats your pet will love.
