Default Question about dogs health?

Okay maybe I am just crazy. My dog has been updated on all her shots completely including rabies in nov/dec 06. A few days ago up in the country at my parents she got out unknowingly for a short time, but came back. Today when i was walking her she's been acting more agressive than normal and she is when being really active gets foamy around the outside of the mouth a little. She may have had this before i just never noticed but yes foam around the outside of her mouth. As i said she has her rabies vaccine, could this just be something natural, do dogs saliva naturally just foam at the mouth? How long is the rabbies vaccine last for? It may be important to note that she is also at the end of her spotting cycle right now(her period)she has no visible marks/bites anywhere that i have noticed as well and she NOT biting and such as i said i may just never have noticed foamy saliva before. shots were given at 4mth and a little after a year and she is 2 in june. Not in a high risk area...

My dog and many other dog's get foamy around the mouth when they have been outside running around with the heat.... I think you are fine especially since you already have the vaccine.

Dogs sometime foamy when they are active, you should call and ask your vet if your dog got a 1 year Rabbi shot or a 3 year. also put out some water and see if she drinks it because animals with Rabbi don't drink water . also take the dog back to the vet so you can get her tested

I would doubt it's a rabies situation as her shot should still be covering that. Give it a few days and watch for any changes in behaviour, appetite and excess salivating or foaming. Any of this could indicate the need to see her vet. She may have gotten into something, even allergic reaction to plants in the area while she was loose. You know your dog best. When we see sudden changes in a dog we rule out a medical cause first, even a behavioural change. Better safe than sorry on this.
