I have a female 8 year old beagle named Bambi. There's an unsual long growth on the base of her tale just above her anus. It's about 2cm and it dangles down and is connected to the tail by a thin strand of tissue. It's white at the tip of the bottom turns black like how the spots on her stomach are then goes back to pink (her skin color).

I noticed a black mark around that area several months ago but back then it looked like something sticky like gum was stuck to her tail and had gotten dirty. It doesn't seem to bother Bambi since I haven't seen her trying to scratch or bite it however, I'm concerned it could be something serious like a tumor.
