Default Animals: Dog Health: Dog Health?

Why shouldn't you leave your dog in a car at the shopping center? It could be stolen It could get heatstroke All of these reasons It could panic and damage the car

Because the owners of the car might get pissed off when my dog sh*ts all over the upholstery.

You seem to know the reasons so why are you asking. Another one is, the dog could die. I've seen it happen. Morons leave their dogs in the car in the dead heat of summer....come back and the dog is either severely dehydrated, or dead.

Well, you've pretty much answered your own question. But another reason is that when dogs are not with their owners in a weird place, they tend to act strange. For example, they might get really anxious and start jumping and scratching the windows, seats or flooring. This might also leave dog hairs everywhere in the car. But it isn't all too bad if it is a fair-temperate day that isn't all too hot. But always leave something for him/her to snack on and drink from depending on how long you'll be gone.

Why are you asking this question? did someone tell you off for leaving your dog in the car or are you trying to raise awareness of this problem?

I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts..............
