Default Thing in a Bag Cat Toy Happy Dog

IT'S ALIVE! Thing in a Bag is specially designed to bring out kitty's natural stalking instinct. The exterior looks like an ordinary brown paper bag, but this toy is actually made from tear and claw-resistant material, making it extremely durable for even the most playful cat. Inside the bag are crinkly-sounding materials and a randomly activated motor that makes the "thing" come alive. The On and Off motion will have your cat wondering what's rustling inside for hours! Requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
Customer Review: It's OK But That's All It Is
I have four cats, one of which is a young kitten. The cats were very interested in the bag at first and pounced at it, but they lost interest quickly. They all enjoy an old empty box I have that they can crawl into and that box didn't cost me anything. They even prefer a large paper sack which they also crawl into. It's a waste of money. Really.
Customer Review: Short Attention...
I bought this for my youngest cat Loki, aka: "the Little Monster". At first he was very interested and attacked it several times, but after awhile he realized it wasn't going to do anything else. I placed one of those cheap plastic jingle balls inside so every time it vibrated you could hear the ball, but that didn't keep his attention for long either. Maybe another day or two. My two other cats just don't care at all. The fat one only seems to be interested in watching the little monster play with it, and my calico completely ignores it. Like I said, I bought it for the younger one since he has endless energy (he was born wild, but bottle fed). If you have cats that will basically attack anything, maybe they will play with this, but will likely lose interest in it fast. Maybe if you stash it away for a few months then bring it back out they will be interested, but with the amount of batteries that it takes and the short attention span of most cats, it maybe isn't worth it. All three of my cats are much more enthused with non-electronic toys that require me to move them, and they are usually cheaper.
