I thought she might think it was unclean, so i put two litter trays in and know she still does it???

Hi there. I have a cat who does the same thing. I have tried everything from thoroughly cleaning the trays daily, experimenting with different litters, adding extra litter trays (to the point there was at least one litter tray in each room of the house), clicker training, animal behaviourists, the list is endless as to what I have tried and am still trying.
She is currently on a diet as she is over weight and I am now hoping that by reducing her weight she may feel more comfortable about using the litter box to poo in.
Dont despair though coz what hasnt worked for me may well work for you and the way I look at it is, poo is easier to clean up than urine and the smell is easier to remove.
Here are a few links that may help.
