I have a lovely indoor kitten, Abby, who is five-six months old. She is highly active and loves to eat, especially her wet food. Very recently she was spayed and given shots for rabies/leukemia/rhinovirus and most of the other general recommended vaccines. When I weighed her she was five to six pounds.

Now, today in the morning her eyes were running with discharge. In the evening she refuses to eat or drink, and has slept all day. She is highly lethargic.
What could this be, and how serious is it?

Not to panic you but does she exhibit fluid retention in her belly? And does she have diarehha? I just lost a cat to FIP and he had similar symptoms. Honestly the best thing is to get the little one into the vet. Also you can force feed with a syringe to keep her fed and hydrated. They don't like it but it gets something into them.
