"Bringing home a new Persian" this tells you all you need for your new persian. Good luck! http://www.pelaqitapersians.com/persian_cat.html

SIMPLE.a) Make sure the kitten is adopted or a taken in stray. Save a life before taking another or supporting a worthless breeder.b) Get the cat fixed ASAPc) Keep the cat INSIDEd) Intend on keeping the cat until it dies naturally of old agee) Intend on spending money on the cat for yearly vet visits, food, etc. That's about it. Can't imagine any other materials you'll be needing.

Go to Petsmart or Petco-- For a persian, you will definitely need a brush. The cat will need to be brushed daily. There are also conditioners for the fur that will make it easier to brush. Other than that, all you need is food, food dish, litter, and a litter box. Oh-- and lots of LOVE for the new kitty.

get a curry brush....gets hair and tangles..cats pretty much self groom. you will also need a lint and hair removal tool for your clothes and furniture. you may have to clean the fur around her hinnie till she gets good at cleaning herself. sometimes longhaired kittens have a hard time with this.
