Next time the cat poops...put the poop in a box with kitty litter. The cat will learn (on its own) thats where to go. Cat's are not like dogs, they only eat when hungry. Also depending on its age, it may be looking for its mother or siblings. As far as the biting, I wouldn't worry, as long as its playful.

hmmm depends what age the cat is. With reagrds to the food, try to find out what she was eating before you got her and try giving her that If you want to change the brand/type of food, introduce the new food gradually (immediate switches can cause tummy upsets) start off with 75% old food and 25% new food, then 50/50 then 25/75 then 100%. Make sure she always has plenty of fresh water, change it every day even if it doesn't look dirty.About the litter training, put her poop in the litter box and she will soon get the idea.If she is still a kitten (or mabybe a little older) then i wouldnt worry about the biting (as long as it is playful), she's probably just trying out her defence strategy. If any of your problems carry on after she has had time to settle down, call a vet - it might be something really simple or it might be something that needs abit more attention.Good luck

hi, i have several cats, most rescues, many as kittens, my best advice is to show her the litter box several times a day, especially after she wakes up or finishes eating, also watch her whenever possible and if you see her go her somewhere like a corner or behind the furniture or start scratching the floor or turning in circles and meowing alot these are good signs she might have to go and you should take her to the box, also the box should be easily accessable. as for the not eating if she is still pretty young she may not be able to eat dry food, i would give canned food and when she gets hungry she should eat, she is probably still a little scared being in unfamiliar surroundings but should adjust soon. as for biting it's hard to say without seeing her, she could be nervous or teething or just playing, but i wouldn't be too concerned about that, however if she doesn't start eating in a day or so, i would take her to a vet for a check to make sure there isn't a health problem, hope this helps.....
