Default about cat health?

I was wondering if feline aids is transfurable to humans when they scratch and break skin with the back claws.

FIV is not transmittable to humans. My boss has a cat that is infected and has educated me on the matter.

NO... HIV cannot be transferred to cats and FIV (feline AIDS) cannot be transferred to humans. The virus that is responsible for Feline AIDS is host-particular, meaning it cannot survive in a different host. The same goes for HIV (human AIDS).

no it is host specific so you would not be able to get it from your cat. we have 2 FIV cats at the shelter I work at and they are the most loving cats in the world, but everyone is afraid to touch them let alone adopt them. poor guys.
