I brought this set for my [...] It was prefect for him. He was trying to use daddy's paint supplies and garden tools, so I wanted something that he could use as well. This set is made to be durable and fun to make together with the family. The rather reasonable cost of this bird house is well worth it. Now every day, we can all enjoy something we all made together. I love the colors and I am sure the birds are happy as well. I would purchase this again as a gift to family or friends if necessary.
Customer Review: Alert to parents!
The birdhouse is sturdy and well-built, but there is NO information about the paints included. The (cheap) brush cleaned with water, but this smells like latex paint, so once dry, it will be permanent on clothes or other surfaces. There is also no information on whether to seal the birdhouse after it is painted. In fact, there are no directions and no warnings at all except that this is not for children under 5.
