Post Comfy EasyPC Play and Learn Keyboard

The Comfy Easy PC Play & Learn Keyboard enables both infants and toddlers to enjoy fascinating interactive games. This educational toy is designed to suit the capabilities and the interests of the children between the ages of 1 and 5. The Comfy Easy PC Play & Learn Keyboard has software that enables the child independence and allows for comfortable control. A kids computer game that fits well for both infants and toddlers, the PC Play & Learn Keyboard is easy to use. Keyboard buttons allow the child to introduce different characters and musical instruments into a scene. The child can also change colors, control the speed of moving objects and also change the weather and time of day for the on screen characters. The Comfy Easy PC Play & Learn Keyboard requires the computer to have a Pentium III 300 MHz processor and should feature Micorsoft Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 or XP. The computer should also feature at least a 32MB ram and at least 30 MB of free space. Speakers are also a must.
Customer Review: She loves it!
I have to say, the first time we played with this I thought it was going to be a dud and I was thinking I would send it back. It's very simple and not much interaction to it. But it turns out my 2 year old daughter loves it. She gets a kick out of it and it's all she needs in a toy. (This is the Comfy PC and not the Elmo toy.)
Customer Review: great concept but poor quality in the software program
I work from home a lot and when ever my son sees me at the computer he wants to climb up on my lap and play with the keyboard. So I was really excited to get him his own keyboard (which he couldn't damage by pounding on or accidentally hitting ESC). In that sense, this product works very well. there are buttons for colors, music, weather, and a few character buttons. My son is now 2 (we got it when he was 18months) and it still holds his interest. The problems I have with the product are that it isn't very interactive or educational. the software program that came with the keyboard is really poorly made. the graphics are cheesy and the music is really basic. there are 3 levels to the program: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Even at the advanced level there is not much to interact with. The phone on the keyboard isn't even attached. It is just a receiver that sits in a cradle and after you pick the receiver up the phone rings. when I purchased this, I was trying to decide between the LeapPad system and this; and I chose this because I liked the look of the keyboard. I'm now going to buy the LeapPad - which I've heard great things about and I think is a much better introduction to the computer.
