Hi everyone! I will post to introduce myself as soon as I get some free time, but I would like to start by asking a question about my budgie.

I have a young budgie (I would guess about 10-12 weeks old based on the bars on the head and the black on his beak). We brought him home about 3 weeks ago and he is being kept in a separate room from our other 6 month old budgie. We do plan on keeping them together eventually. My question is this: His poops are normal and he is not showing any signs of heavy or labored breathing, no mucous of any kind around his cere, his vent is clean. He just seems to be not as active as my other budgie and he sleeps more. He is puffy sometimes, but perks right up when I speak to him or put my hand inside the cage. Could this be because he is just so young and needs more rest, or maybe just a different personality type then my other budgie?
