My pet parrot, an indian ringneck is sick i need advice
Joey, my indian ringneck parrott-who was found several years ago by my cousin's son, and given to me, is sick. He has been very sleepy most of the time and sits on his perch with his head in his back feathers. He seems very weak, but has not lost his appetite. He struggles to get to his food dish and to the bottom of the cage. His feathers are ruffled and he seems to shake every once in a while. I stopped giving him fruit and vegetables and table food and only give him the classic food mix and nutri-berries. I also give him a vitamin supplement-ultra-vite and an anti-biotic liquid the pet store recommended called ultra care, to be used instead of water. I am really upset and can't even get him to the vet as he is wild and can't be taken out of his cage. Can someone help me, please?
