No don't worry he is not stressed, if this has appeared since he has been on his own. Nearly all roden bite on the cage bars, as they do their nose pokes though and rubs on the bar above. This constant rubbing makes a little bald spot, this is known as barbering. If you watch him closley you will be able to observe this.
