I have a 10 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is healthy but is losing weight and looks far too thin(3kg since Easter) The vet has done blood tests and says everything is okay. I believe the problem is with his metabolism. As soon as he sees food he goes to the toilet. He is not a greedy eater, more of a social eater. He grazes on his meal throughout the day but uses his bowels regularly. He does not have loose movements so that is not a problem. How can I fatten him up and slow down his metabolism?
