Eastern Fence Lizard care and facts?
I caught a female Eastern Fence Lizard and I decided to keep her because there aren't too many lizards around my house anymore. I give her lots of Grasshopers, but I don't think she eats them. My mom doesn't want to buy crickets because she thinks they will get all over the house and get away. During the day I put her tank in the sun becuase I don't have any lights for her. I have it outside, because I figured that the lizard was adapted to the outside weather. When I first caught her, I thought she was pregant because she's really fat, but I don't think so anymore. I looked up some information on Fence Lizards, but I need to know exactly what they can eat, problems that can occur, about their eggs, if they get along with other lizards in the same tank, and just stuff like that. I have rocks, mulch, sticks, leaves, and a small water dish in the tank already. I need to know how I can take care of it and if the lights are actually necessary. Thanks!
