Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are a natural breed, for showing they are not styled in anyway. If you want to keep the nice silky coat you can use a flea comb to remove the fluff from the top coat weekly and use a good ph balanced shampoo and conditioner monthly. If you are not showing your dog you can cut back the feet and leg fringes to keep dirt from being brought inside.Another way is clipping the coat which I do not recomend as it ruins the coat and turns it fluffy and thick, clipping the back coat and keeping the ears, tail, bib and pants keeps the look of a cavalier.
