First of all you should never just have one tetra, they are schooler fish and need to be in at least groups of 6 or more.Tetras are tropical fresh water fish and need a temperature of aruond 75°F. Tetras can eat flake food, but to keep them happy, supplement with brine shrimp or blood worms on occasion (mine especally love the ebrine shrimp)Ally
