Basically keep tanks/bowls very clean. Use treated or distilled water. Always house alone. Very territorial. They will kill each other if put together. Feed very small amounts of varying food once daily. Flakes, pellets, blood-worms, freeze-dried brine shrimp for a little ruffage for the digestive system - I powder mine between my fingers. Alternating every couple days. They do need exercise as they are generally kept in very cramped little bowls or tanks. They have distinct personalities once they are used to you. They may swim to the top of their bowl to be stroked, or swim into your hand when changing their water
