Depends on the age and at what fitness level you are trying to keep these horse.If you are trying to keep them racing fit you are going to need to work them every day and breeze them about every seven days.It also will depend on the horse. Some need to race even 10 days or so just to keep fit.We rode ours third or fourth day day and did about three miles with some spped in the second mile and some again in the thrid mile if the horse wanted to. These wer long slower gallops not like you were asking for top speed. Just bursts of speed in the middle. On the off days we still rode but slower without asking for speed.If you are not able to ride each horse consider ponying one if you are comfortable doing it. Alternate who is ridden and who is ponied.We would alternat this with free round pen work
