You will also need to invest in a good quality live rock if you are keeping a reef tank.
Fish
It is also commonly known that saltwater fish are more expensive compared to freshwater fish. Most marine fish cost $15 or higher. However, you will find that they also have brighter colors and look more interesting compared to their freshwater counterparts.
Owning fish for pets can be an enjoyable hobby. Although salt water fish require a bit of work their beauty is worth it. Before buying your fish though you need to research them, reef aquarium fish should not be bought on impulse and merely placed in a tank without prior preparation.
